Government is as good as the people of the nation
by Sudip Bhattacharjee on Oct 12, 2007 07:32 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I once read a quotation from Winston Churchill, the former PM of UK during WW-II, which read something like: "A government is as good as its people". The current situation reflects this very clearly. We have tolerated the stupidity of left for years after years, no one has ever protested. No media has ever taken a strong position against the communists in this country, nor even a position against the communism which only brings misery, misfortune and poverty to the people of a country. No one was ever bothered. So, why are we crying now? Do we deserve a better government at all? If communists are in power, India will slowly and steadily go from worse to hell. It is the best time for us to understand the danger of communisms and particularly the stupidity and ignorance of our leaders, from all parties, which has lead us to this situation.

I am surprised that when every one knows that the sole motto of communist party opposing nuclear deal is save China's interest, why none of the media channel etc do a debate or poll on this

Only people like you who just want to ape the West would want to through sms polls. Media channels use the dumb sms polls to make profit.
The people in the villages know better what they want.
