Misleading / Camouflage infomation given by the Officials
by Auudhya Prasad on Oct 14, 2007 08:53 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The Government Officers (PIO'S) responsible to give the information always try to give the information which is misleading or camouflaged so that the applicant is made to go in appeal etc. which defeats the very purpose of it.Going in second appeal with CIC or SCIC will further enhance the cost of information. Some more stricter action is required against the Officials who use these tactics.

I agree. The CIC / SCIC should fine the PIOs giving wrong / incorrect replies / delay unnecessrily. If the CIC /SCIC start fining the PIOs the backlock will not be there and the appeals to CIC /SCIC will reduce.
