why debating on Gandhi?
by Sidharath Sharma on Oct 09, 2007 03:47 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Why we ppl are debating on that nehru family was gandhi or not. Simple fact is that they are gandhians or not, but they never followed gandhi's principles.
Well, i have doubts, if any one can follow all of his principles, even gandhi himself failed to do this.
Anyway he was also one(not only) of the gr8 freedom fighter of india, who did sacrificed hsi entire life for country.

It is better to be a hypocrite and win freedom. Rather than go into oblivion after loosing . Fact of the matter is when the dust settled British where gone , Bose was either dead or absconding, Bhagat singh , Rajguru gave life to show unethical practices of empire as much as we salute them ...Gandhi played his role in uniting most of India under single movement which finnaly made it impossible and un economical for Britishers to rule india. His idealism is some thing I don't suscribe to but I respect it. His shrewd tactical mind which routed britishers is still admirable .
