Arun Gandhi, get a real job. Stop trying to live off grandpa's name. Yes, I know it's a comfy life compared to real work, but have some self-respect, and stop trying to cynically exploit your grandpa's name to make a living off it. Moral authority is not inherited through the genes, and so just because you claim to be a grandson, doesn't give you any moral authority. This isn't the Caliphate. Go and make a career of your own, instead of trying to follow (ride) on grandpa's legacy.

well those retired gujrati taxi drivers should get themselves a job. Next time they collect money for such an ad in the temple in NYC, they better let us know what it is going to be spent for.

What is your objection to the ad ? By quoting the Mahatma, Sonia implied that she belongs to his clan.It is better that Arun continues his kushy job and not dabble in his half-understood politics. I want to ask: has any party leader addressed the UN General Assembly before ?

Martin Luther King also quoted the Mahatma numeours times. Did he claim to "belong to his clan???" How about Nelson Mandela ? did he try to also latch on to the so called "clan" ? I feel very proud as an Indian if the whole world tries to quote the Mahatma and "latch on to his clan"
what crude logic was that ? Something wrong with the cognitive skills of the folks who issued the ad. These stupid Hindu fanactics. They have crossed the line that seperates pride for one own's religion and culture vs. hatred and disgust for others. If they would take the next step and start killing people of other religion/culture/races, they will be no different than the Bin Ladens of the world

It is not unfortunate to have Mahatma Gandhi as great grandfather but it is unfortunate to claim to speak on his behalf. He is what Bush Jr is to Bush clan.
