can anybody imagine that a country like US or china signing an international agreement created by some other country (say, india) without proper discussion and permission from their parliament? this is what happened in india, this will happen only in india and i feel it as one of the worst things happened in indian history.

History will repeat itself soon. I too am not sure why the gvernment wants to go ahead when the US are stressing to get it done quickly. it looks like something is done in a hurry. Hope it is not something irreversible. I shall never forgive myself for having voted for the Congress tilld ate.

I am with you. What pisses me is that congress is not ready for an open discussion. They are doing it all hush-hush .... and if the left really thinks that this is not in the interest of the Country, they should just pull out... Worry about smaller things later. If they pull out after operationalising the deal, they may as well keep supporting Congress later too.. The damage is already done... I am afraid we are getting dangerously close. Remember, when Karat met MMS, he was told that the deal is signed already and left was not even aware of it until that instance. Same thing could happen with the operationalisation.
