democracy

In democracy these things are staged frequently. Only request the public can make is to avoid the ensuing election expenditure that has caused due to the decision of the Governor.
If cost control and welfare measures are given priority, the Governor could have weighed the relative importance and that may be possible if the Governor is also from Karnataka.

Governers decision?
How can you forget in a day that all principal parties have given in writing to the governer that they will not suport each other and demanded the assembly to be disssolved?? The gov. & constitution is not a joke to be played with at will. What else was the choice with the governer?

This type of mockery of democracy, betrayal etc,. or repeated by these politicians over a period of time, Because they dont care about the wasteful expenditure incurred in conducting elections which otherwise could be used for some developmental project.
This problem mainsly arises when people give fractured verdict in some states repeatedly as in the case Goa and we see a drama and change of Govt every after three months.
A solution to end this menace of shameless and unpatriotic act of criminal politicians is that any agreement of support and alliance should be signed in the presence of Governor, and supporting party and MLAs/MPs should give an undertaking that the they will support the govt for a full term.Violators of such agreement should be permanently disqualified from contesting any more elections.
As of now no party will like to bring in such legislation because Cong itself did this act in the case Charan Singh and Chandrasekar at the centre.
