It is a misconception that BJP is communal. The coalition government in Karnataka JD(S) and BJP for the past 20 months have been very peaceful and harmonial, which exhibited growth and development to the state. By continuing this relationship with BJP, the JD(S) are confident of governing the state for the full term with the same harmony and peaceful atmosphere.
Force Majure: if JD(S) is secular, BJP also is Secular and if BJP is communal then JD(S) also communal. otherwise how can they join hands and keep us the harmony.

I guess the BJP called his bluff? The governor asking him to resign did not help either....but the BJP needs to be careful. They should not expect this to continue for long....certainly not 20 months. I am 100% confident that Mr. Deve Gowda is just buying time and will soon return to his "BJP is Communal" slogan. In fact, if the BJP had been able to "bug" Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy 20 months ago, they would have heard DG say " Go ahead and do it...we can always pull the rug after 20 months....we will put on a show of differing with each other now"
