The time has come to emphasise the importance "Kannadatva" over "Secularism" and "Hindutva" because neither of the latter promise security for Kannada and Kannadigas. It is time to throw northie parties out of Karnataka and build strong regional parties that can work for the cause of Kannada and Kannadigas and represent Karnataka at the centre.

What has "Kannadatva" party done to karnataka other than blore,mysore and hassan?? I went to murudeshwar regularly. Each time I go there roads are pathetic. nobody cares. Where as we have 2 expressways to mysore. Roads till hasan are sooo good. We will soon have a airport to hasan as well. Look byond we have other parts of ktka too.

The reason being these national party MPs are meek lambs in front of their northie dominated high commands. They are toothless in the parliament, I am yet to see a single MP stand up and debate for the state's interests. Look at SP, RJD, TDP, DMK/AIADMK. They have a lot of advantage when it comes to bargaining resource allocation for their states, while we are taken for granted! It is time we had strong regional parties so that the entire state can develop.

Dear Gopalkrishna sir!.. please stop talking like an idiot..You have just seen what this JD(S) ( Jai Devegowda (sons) )has done..It's we kannadigas who are going to pay for elections and this is what you think which is needed to make "jai Karnataka", then you just go n checkup yourself. Kannada grows and remains strong by US..by not these politicians. You just be committed to Kannada's work..that's sufficient.

silly regional parties can participate in the state elections but they should park their a$$ in their own state and not come to the centre. That's for national parties like Congree,BJP etc..
