Nobody says BJP is great, but this is the oly untested, they certainly desrve a chance.
You have not clarified one thing though, Congress has ruled Mother India for 5 decades, but still has not uplifted the masses. How many more decades do they need?

Dear Confused, Can you tell me what upliftment BJP has done they have made mockry of farmers commiting sucide by the "India Shining Campaign" India was shining only for the "URBAN EDUCATED" rest of the country suffered. Anyway BJP lost because of that this is a known fact.

It is easy for all/any political party to call for mid-term elections. But do they or more importantly, do we realize the cost to society of such elections ?
India is still a "POOR" Nation. This kind of fiscal irresponsibility is insane. These elections will be funded by TAX money. Money that you and I earned. Is this what we earned that money for ? Is this best utilization of our hard earned money ? The time we spend away from our family ?
These politicals parties are taking India full speed into a ditch. How is this fight making life any easy for the common man ? Politicians needs to realize that they are "PUBLIC SERVANTS" and more importantly, WE THE PEOPLE need to realize that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS. How are they serving US ?
This is a fight for POWER. Plain and simple. The problem is that we do not speak out. The public must keep these politicians in check. They are overplaying their hand. They have a group of loyal and active supporters who seem to have more influence than the majority of us.
Unless we wake up and demand accountability, these politicians will play their old dirty tricks.
