I had very high hopes on BJP untill they came to power 8 yrs back.
To comment on your points:
1. Rama is no longer a deciding issue in polls. BJP burnt its fingers by hanging to the Ayodhya issue for too long.
2. It is difficult to convince masses on Muslim Appeasement (though Congress has mastered this art)
3. BJP were no good either in dealing with Terrorism. Remember : plane highjacking, Kargil intrusions and an endless list of bomb blasts took place even during BJP tenure. So I dont think people will buy this one either.
BJP should come out with some other strategy if they want to make a serious impact in the next polls.
