VP Singh could not have implemented Mandal commission report if BJP had not supported him. Remember, Janata Dal was in power with BJP's support. Later BJP withdrew support from Janata Dal not on reservation issue, but when Advani's Rath yatra was stopped.
During its 5 year term, BJP never once brought a motion or a bill in parliamnet to end reservation or put a time limit on it ... or did anything to prove that they were against reservation.
