Wishful Thinking
by Lalatendu Deo on Oct 03, 2007 10:40 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

JD(S) Proposes Congress Disposes. It is not the opportune time, from Congress' point of view, to hold the Election now. And Congress will wish to see to it that the skirmish continues for a while. It will, of course, would make it sure to show that there is nothing for it to do. The next Power Play certainly is in the hands of the Congress.

And knowing it fully well, JD(S) is waiting for BJP to make the next move, so that there is a chance that the election call is made immediately, by killing all alternatives to it. JD(S)'s move will not automatically result in an election in November, though they would wish it so.

It is to be seen as to how much success JD(S) will get. After all, it is the interest of the JD(S) to have immediate election. And both Congress and BJP wish that to happen a little later. BJP would wish that there would be a good bit of delay for that dreadful election time. And that is why, they are in for finding a way as to how that can be done.

Interesting Time for Karnataka Politics.

Helo Deo,
BJP no doubt got 91 MLA's ( Record for karnataka BJP ) due to Vajpayee effect. This time around Gowda has become more powerfull ( Recent local body Polls ). And Congress has always been powerfull in Karnataka.

Long live Congress
