I guess like Jayalitha, DMK and other 'secular' parties JD too can flirt with BJP and Congress at will depending on power equations and yet claim to uphold the principles of secularism with a straight face.
There truly is no accounting for the gullible, is it a wonder then the state the country is in when people are blatantly insincere and morons come on the rediff boards to defend that.
The shamelessness of the JD in making a commitment and then backing out like this is astonishing. The idea that there would be a single person who could think positively about this nevermind your personal political affiliations is truly baffling.
There is no integrity in this country in politics and elsewhere. Politicians are a reflection of us and the sooner we stop deceiving ourselves and accept our own inadequacies the better it will be.

What about JD(S)' commitment to people who voted it in the first place when it promised to uphold secularism and protect the weak? Doesn't that commitment come before an unholy opportunistic so-called "commitment" made to a rabidly communal party?

Yeah, BJP should be like Congress right? Congress is ready to deal with anybody including anti-nationals. BJP is not like that. In fact you sound very sick. Go test yourself for HIV.
