There is a difference between learning and abusing. There is no harm in a dialogue but it should be healthy and not hurt religious sentiments. No where in Islam has it been written to hurt anyone's religious sentiments. In fact we have been warned not to go into arguments with relations to anyones god or prophets and rather calmly let them follow their religious path and we follow our path. Go and read Surah Qulyayuhal Qaferon. And also remember dont misuse the word Qafir, it doesnt mean a hindu or a sikh or anyone. The word means someone who doesnt accept. Like if i have diabetes, and someone forces me to eat Sweets, i avoid and avoid, until the person says, He is a Qafir, meaning not ready to accept, Nahi Maan ney wala.
And dont talk about my country's culture. In India every religion has more freedom than anywhere else in this world. I know a neigbouring country where Shia's are killed during Muharram cause they mourn the death of the grandson of prophet. Maybe there are still followers of Yezid who killed Imam Hussain(PBUH) left in this world, who are spreading terrorism in the name of Islam just like Yezid was spreading terror and Imam Hussain stood up to him.
