Dirty and Corrupt Politics in Karnataka

Karnataka, which was one of the most progressive and induatrialised states in India is now in the back burner seat. Deve Gowda forgets that it was Ramakrishna Hegde who made him the Chief Minister. By sheer luck, he was chosen PM in 1996 as no one was coming forward to sit in the hot seat of PM. Congress, under Rajiv Gandhi's leadership had lost the majority in Lok Sabha a few years earlier and Gowda's government was supported by Congress from outside. Deve Gowda used to come to Bangalore every week end and visit at Delhi Sitaram Kesari, the Congress President almost every other day as he was very insecure as PM. Rest is all history. Gowda was made to lose his PM's seat after 11 months of inglorious prime ministership. He is the only ex-PM who has been defeated twice in Lok Sabha elections. No one considers him as a national leader. Even in Karnataka, he has only a minor support of the people. Such a person has been mudslinging in Karnataka politics for the last few years . He and his son, current CM of the State have only created problems and confusion in the state politics. If both retire from politics and confine themselves to serving the poor in their village in Hassan district, they will be respected by all the people. BJP. hungry for power in a southern state shamefacedsly agreed to join the coalition government 20 months ago and has accepted all shame and disrespect from Kumaraswamy all these months. BJP leader Yediurappa, having tasted the power of the office, should h

But Bangalore did not manage expansion. Whatever works going on now on Transport and Infrastructure is too little and too late. Pollution and cost of living are the major deterrents in moving to Bangalore. Water/Elec could be a lot better.

Above all they do not know to elect visionaries like Hegde.

CNN's thing is plain bull

Well Said Krishnamurthy, but the hungry fox BJP should not be allowed to rule the so called peace state or else they will make factions in our state exactly like what they did in UP. Please kannadigas wake up before it is too late. I only congrats Kumara sami for not allowing BJP to sit on Vidhna Soudha.
