It is very sad to see that the most important project bringing economic boom to the whole country and south india in particular should be stopped by bunch of idiotic fools on The name of GOD RAMA even rama would disagree with these bunch of idiotic fools, developing their tummy in the name of GOD.depriving people of south TN some form of economic prosperity these bunch of fools sitting in pretty airconditioned room in front of computers and writing comment saying sethu should be stopped-using rama name
you go and see south tamilnadu whare there is no job, people living in poor condition, let these project come and people live booms
if you have real respect for ram you people should immediately vacate ayodhya and make the place where he roamed as heritage site, you should fence all the route from ayodhya to kanniyakumari where rama travelled and make it heritage site
the ask ram sethu not to be disturbed for the sake of development and well being of poor

SSji currently the ships are going around srilanka.... some of the low load ships can pass through sethu samudram.....
now tell me... Is Srilanka a prosporous country which has the benefit of passing even bigger ships????
on what basis u say that this will help TN people.... it will help only the corrupted politicians at the cost of sentiments of crores of people.....

Abhijit, Ships going around Srilanka goes thru international waterways and thus, they don't need to fee. if they wanna a save petrol (or deisel or gas), they need to go thru Sethu Canal and they need to pay for the people who digged the canal (just like toll road)... digging the canal and maintaining the canal is a job oppurtunity than fishing and getting caught by Srilankan navy

i dont think it will help anyone except a few politicians, the contractor and the management job people and tht too at the cost of the fishermen...... again as someone pointed out.... the revenue wont be able to recover even the costs.....

Hello Mr.SS, What makes you think that only Ramsethu will rescue your poverty. Start to learn to work hard and produce less children and it will make you sufficient. If Karunanidhi continues to do such politics, be sure your situation will not improve, rather deteriorate. If you stop encouraging politicians like Karunanidhi and the sorts, there is no doubt that the politics will continue and the real beneficiaries will never get the benefits. It is high time that we shall dump all such politicians and vote for only those who have development orientation.
