These developments indicate that the DMK and also Congress seems to hve exhausted tricks of trade. Before getting to "fast", they could have announced cancellation of bundh call, which would have been a saving the face for all concerned.

THE goons who have called for total stoppage of normal activisties of people in TN are not only from DMK. The BANDH call is supported by DMK, Congress, the CPI, the CPI (M), and the PMK.
Naturally the CPM- top stalinist disagrees with law of the land as understood by Supremem Court.
Plea se also note the NDTV, the family channel of CPM has given prominence to Prakash Karat's unworthy viewpoint compared to the considered vies of Supreme Court judjes.

Mr Karunanidhi who had earlier told that he respect Peoples verdict more than the court verdict should have continued Fast and sacrificed the Government for the purpose of Sethusamuthram Project. But he only speaks and can not do because he likes Power and he is not prepared to quit. The announcement of Bandh, changed to Hunger Strike due to SC Intervention and Stopping the Hunger strike fearing SC has become a Very Big Joke. Mr Karunanidhi should stop making all this stunts hereafter. We appreciate Supreme Court for intervening in this and making Mr Karunanidhi alright.
