Do not go gaga over Ram Sethu!

When there are so many issues to ponder about in our day to day life, we're wasting our time, energy and resources unnecessarily on an issue which does not have any significance in our lives. May be for the politicians, this issue is significant. Not for us commoners. If this project is going to help Indian economy, save lot of fuel, induce development along the coast, why make a big fuss about it? What's that we're going to achieve by retaining a collection of sand?

BJP has no issues other than Ram. This party thinks Ram is their sole property and only BJP has the right to meddle with anything named after Him. They're not bothered about other more important issues like, country's economy, growth, future, security and peace. All they know is Ram and only Ram. They think only Ram can bring them back to power. Let them raise their voice and concern for other issues as well. Else, even Ram can not save them.

Kalaignar also lost his control over his tongue. He must have stuck to Ram Sethu alone and need not have uttered bitter comments on the existance of Ram then. Does he have the guts to pass on similar comments on Gods of other religions as well???

Restraint and level head is the need of the hour. Let's not be misled by vested interests and get carried away. Let's think, what's good for the nation and support that. While JJ got a stay for the state sponsored bandh, hasn't she herself staged such tamashas before? All politicians are like; none is better or wor

In the prevailing circumstances when UPA constituents have made a habit of abusing Hindus and their Gods and all their revered places, isn't it the responsibility of the BJP to speak against it? And who are you to say that BJP should not castigate someone who is hurling abuses at Ram; who is not only revered amongst Hindus but Sikhs and other religions. Even I heard the views of Muslim scholars from AIMPLB, who castigated Karunasur for his 'No proof of Ram' comments.

AGREED ALL POLITICIANS ARE SAME. WE HAVE MANY IMPORTANT AND URGENT NATIONAL ISSUES PENDING. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE A COMMON AGENDA BOTH AT NATIONAL AND STATE LEVEL WHERE ALL IMPORTANT MATTERS SHOULD BE LISTED AND MUST BE IMPLEMENTED WITHIN FIX TIME LIMIT ? NATIONAL AGENDA SHOULD BE ABOVE ALL PARTIES AND MUST BE FOLLOWED BY ALL IRRESPECTIVE OF ONE PARTY COMING IN POWER OR OTHER LOSING THE ELECTIONS.
