What a joke..!!
Dawn to dusk hunger strike..??
What is that..??
Its nothing more than a common fast most Indians do (Hindus as well as Muslims in Ramzan).
So, what is the big deal in that..??
Hey, Karuna..!! Do something new yaar..!!
And that too, he will eat stomach-full before dawn and after dusk as well..!!
So, where is the hunger pain..??
Common Karuna..!! Pls stop fooling around..??

It could be worse than a joke.
In earlier years, TN "Dravida" politicians have also held "relay" hunger strikes, each actor starving himself for a full two hours.
In the present instance also, similar things could be happening. During the actual time of "fast", the actors would take "only" fruit juice, and perhaps biryani on the sly. Also, time-out could be called every two hours, or whenever the actor felt hungry.
In any case, the so-called protest "hunger" strike amounts to cocking a snook at the Supreme Court.
