Water is going to become the scarest commodity in the future, efforts like the one mentioned above is definitely required for effective conservation of this resource.

All Indian rivers flow into the sea taking fresh water with them. reservoirs can be built and water diverted into them there is plenty of water in India but needs proper management. With India's me and me only attitude it is not going to happen for a long time. by that time most glaciers would have melted down Himalaya will be a bare mountain range. and water will be sacred.At present Heart disease is the biggest killer then it will be fresh water. it's availabilty will be none existence.
