BECAUSE OF TELUGU PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING IN MALAYSIA, IN MALAYSIANS THOUGHTS NOW INDIA HAVE GOOD POSTURE. OTHERWISE HERE LOCALS THINKING INDIANS MEANS ONLY TAMILS. NOW THEY UNDERSTAND TAMILS ARE ONLY ONE PART IN INDIA. THEY DONT REPRESENT ALL INDIA.
THEY LIKE PEOPLE WHO COMES FROM HYDERABAD, BANGALORE & FROM NORTH INDIA.
MALAYSIAN CHINESE ALSO ANOTHER SMALL GROUP BUT THEY PROSPER ALL THE WAYS AND NOW THEY HOLD 90% OF WEALTH IN THEIR HANDS. BECAUSE OF THIS MALAYSIAN GOVT PROVIDING ORIGINAL MALAYSIANS(BHUMIPUTRAS) EXTRAS FACILITIES. INDIAN TAMILS THEY LIKE TO KILL EACH OTHER. BUT FEW TAMILS LIKE ANANDA KRISHNAN SECOND MALAYSIAN RICHEST PERSON & AIR ASIA BOSS ALSO INDIA... HE ALSO ONE OF THE RICHEST PERSON WHO R INDIANS.

have you forgotten a good number of IT professionals roughed up by Malaysian authorities in 2003 were not Tamils? They *harassed* Indians irrespective of language. Mr Ganapathy Rao leading Hindraf is not a Tamil. While you are correct that Indians are involved in crime , it is also a fact that they are over represented in professions like doctors, lawyers, IT etc.

Hi Dream most Telugu migratns to Sri Lanka are gypsies ( who still speak a form of Telugu ) and lots of them were scavengers but have lost thier language and now speak Tamil. So do not know what the Sinhalas think of Telugus never asked them but have feeling that they consider them a low Tamil caste who speak a strange form of Tamil.( as they have only seen Telugu gypsies begging or stealing or Telugu scavengers). I live in the west and many whites think Tamils are nice cultured and educated as they mostly see educated Professional Indian or Sri Lankan Tamils.and in U.K many whites of low opinion regd Pakistanis and North Indians( as th eoriginal migratns were just factory fodder from Punjab) and in Fiji most native Fijians have low opinion about Hindians as they have been exposed to a mainly laboureer class. In austrlaian Indians/Sri Lankans are held in high esteem as they mostly cultured middle class professionals. People if they are not educated and worldy wise will just form opinions on what they see and perceive, One person does not represent a race or people and yo cannot by an individual from a race.

My dear Dream, wake up from your dream, for a foriener with fairer skin, and with little india experience , he cant make out between a tamil and a telugu or a kannadiga or for that matter most of the indians..We are look almost the same in colours , body strcture , posture mannereisms etc.. Also Tamil and Telugu and all south indian languages sounds the same..
So come out of your fools papadaise if you think that people out side India can distinguish a Tamil and a Telugu.
Also dont you remember , many Telugu software engineers were badly mistreated by the Malasyian policfe three years back and many were locked up in the police stations..That is because you all look the same with a local Tamil in Malasya.
Now see the point.. Granted that these Indian Tamils who migrated long back occupy lower strata of society and not quite comeup in their life. If that is being the case then The Malasyian Govt should give priority for this people bringing in affirmative action.
Now more importantly a hardworking Telegu like you should try to learn good english before posting..Also it is important to understand that just because you distance yourself from Tamils in Malasya you wont becoe a Chinseese. You will remain Indian in your looks and manners. And that is the the way the world understand you.
So be proud of what you are and be proud of your being closer to Tamils in looks (read Indian looks)
