Malaysians are very humble and genuine people, they have huge respect for Indians (Not Tamils). Their culture is so similar to indian way of life. The indians are complaining for something done to their forefathers by the british. Thats history, you can't do anything about it. Malaysia is very strict country, irrespective of religion any one protesting would be put behind bars in "Internal Security Act". The government has been very linient in case of indian protest. The politics are very different from the way people in this forum are reacting. They are not Indian Indians, they are malays, its their internal matter. Like wise, there are chinese, China doesn't come forward to protect them, they are malaysians

Although I agree that they are Malaysians and it is an internal problem of Malaysia at the smae time I donot agree that Malaysia is all that a kind nation and loves all. If that was the case why did Singapore move out of Malaysia. It is simple Malaysia will not do this to Chinese as Chinese investments and influence is more than Indias. Just tell me one thing. If India was Militarily and Economically as powerful as US would Malyaisa have even thought of doing this. banning a right to protest is not only inhuman but against the basic charter of UN.

please stick to the topic. It is about rights of human beings and UNESCO, and other stuff not the general politics in UN. And tomorrow when one of your creed is thrown out u will be the first to run to UN or US. UN and US both are very relevant and important in this world even if you wish them not to be. See the owrk done by UN worldwide, in Africa, Asia, Irag, Afghanistan and then speak. It is very easy to talk from the 60th floor of an AC building in KL and difficult to live on the streets of Nigeria as an orphan. then you will be realize how much UN and US do

Just a little correction, Singapore didnot move out of Malaysia, Malaysia asked singapore to move out. Its another thing that singapore has done well subsequently, thanks largely to Lee Quan yew

Its nota safe country.. No police..even though murder also..police can't find the killer..ie Malaysia truly asia.. Just good for tourist for a week...nothing else..can't even walk in road..becos of robbery..india is much safer than that

i am living here for the last 5 years. working for the same company. malays and chines are very good. last time two malaysian tamils tried to kickout me from by job by telling lies to our MD but our MD is chinese he guess the truth and later slowly he fired the two because of their attitude
