So finally we are going to 'debate' the nuke deal in our parliament.
And what a timing! We waited with bated breath till the deal went through debates, discussions and votings in the US system. And finally when it did get the American leaders' consent, our comrades in the left jumped on it and said no. As though they were in 'Vanvas' all this time.
The commies threatened to pull the govt down, but realised to their horror that they would register an absolute zero if they go to the people - thanks to Nandigram and infightings in Kerala.
So they displayed their most important virtues - generosity, understanding and patience and said lets debate. After all Communists are well known for their democratic ways ain't it?
The losers all the way are Indian voters who elected these jokers, hypocrites and half-educated morons to lead them. Lets pat ourselves on the back that India has made a big fool of herself on the world stage.

debate? What sort of debate? If you want to know the mood of the house, the debate should be followed by voting. BJP has asked for voting, but left parties adamant that there should be no voting. The discussion will be under a section which does not call for voting. They will not allow a discussion under any section which calls for voting.

suresh is only echoeing the thoughts of many more people who really see the value in the deal. Our politicians talk about stock markets without even knowing the ABCs of it. sometimes it really beats when these people talk waht they talk without even knowing they look so comical and display with a great sense of pride their ignorance. these people can be blamed only to certain extent, they cannot be taken to university and taught science, they donot want to see the other side of the world- developed, broadminded. All they are bothered is petty politics. indian politics need youngsters, highly qualified and ambitious.
