Women In Islam
by Wahaj Faridy on Nov 28, 2007 03:18 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Women in Islam are among happiest in the world. Some Western surveys have established it already !

Approx two third of all Muslim converts are Women !

As far as Taslima is concerned, let us not forget she became a doctor, and a writer only living within the society she hates now.

Wahaj:
Muslim women are typically under strong control of their male community leaders. Most of them will not come forward and complain even if things are very bad. Women in many Muslim countries are not allowed to drive and work in white collar professions. That is why you should respectfully listen to writers like Taslima.

That is why we need writers like Taslima.

I fully agree with her. I am seeing this as a proof in the western society that women in large numbers are comming in islam. The ones who know the truth will follow the truth. There will be many people who dont know the truth and are misled in rediff forum.
