Read the two books of Tasleema Nasree, Amar Meyebela and lajja. you will find that it has no literary value.
She hasmentioned in Amaar Meyebela how big his father was a womaniser, and with which Baba her mother slept and which uncle molested and sexually abused her. A family drama of the people who have no hesitation in having extra marital affairs.
As far as Lajja is concerned, I appreciate her guts to come out openly against those elements in Bangladesh who destructed / damaged mandir as a response to the destruction of Babri mosque. Both the destruction of mosque in India anddestruction of mandir in Bangladesh is a smbol that how far we have drifted away from our religion and there should not be any hesitation and shame in condemning those elements.
She was justified till now, but then she opened her sword against Islam , despite her own admission that her knowledge about Islam is very very superficial. How can she give her expert opinion about Islam without having understood it.
This only shows that there is neither literary value of her book nor there is any depth in its substance.
The only logic of writing such book was to please the segment of society all over the world that is opposed to Islam who will not only give her recognition but hefty amount as well.
I feel pity for this lady and I am in favour of not extending her visa in India as she has become an irritant for muslims and a threat to peace in the society.

Hey Aftab, India I think accords the right to a person irrespective of literary merit..you can write and read most things our spines will allow us...personally I think Quran has little literary value, but no reason to ban it.is there??....and who you think has a knowledge of Islam? Khomeni or Osama Bin Laden??? trust both are worse than Taslima...its a shame you defend Islamofascists who want to stifle people from speaking..btw you are not going to succeed. ther are thousands of people who will raise questions about religions as it affects our lives..

When you say "Koran is the book of god", I should be able to say that it is not. That is "freedome of expression".
I am a muslim and i agree that you have the freedom to say it is not book of god and that wont change in what i beleive.
freedom of expression does not mean hurting someones sentiments. it is true for tasleema and it is true for MF hussain

Mr white,, Have u ever heard of a person called Periyar in Tamilnadu... He has written a book abt Ramayan... He has written all the things u had mentioned above... but nobody issued a fatwa... against him... He is still revered by every body since we believed in freedom of expression... and also we did not mind his book since it was his view and nobody can change it...

Your muslim countries like Pakistan & Bangladesh have given shelters to great people like Dawood, Chhota Shakeel, Osama & terrorists. You are telling about Islam. What teaching Islam gives is clear from the activities of muslim countries.
You are talking about Ram, Sita & Krishna. We dont want to know about them from Jehadis. We know how muslims constructed Masjids in Ayodhya & Mathura to insult Hindus. Muslims dont allow non-muslims to enter Mecca & Madina (their holy cities), but want their masjid in our holy cities.
Muslims are fighting against Jews, Budhists (destroyed bamiyan budhha), Christians, Sikhs (killed thousands sikhs during partition), Hindus. Everyday muslims are killing each other in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan calling each other Shia and Sunni.
I know it is not the fault of Muslims. It is their religion which teaches who are kafir and how to kill them.
While their own religion is a religion of criminals, this guy is talking about Ram & Krishna. It is nothing but Jehad against Ram & Krishna i.e. God.

I like relegion like Hindu, Christian...but frankly i am telling i don't like ISLAM...Islam only tells how to become terrorist..so i request to all muslim brothers and sisters please convert into either HINDU or CHRISTIAN..so that no terrorist will be there in this world..
