( 1 ) 20th April 2002, at Moulavibazar district of Bangladesh, in Laxmipur village under Kulaur Police station several armed Muslim fundamentalists attacked the houses of Dulal Debnath and Jitendra Debnath, both members of the Hindu minority community. The houses were set ablaze. The group of miscreants led by Iuyas Mian of Balichiri village forcefully captured their lands. A case has been filed against them at the Kulaur police station.
( 2 ) 8th May, 2002, N. M. Jahangir Alam-A well known journalist of the newspaper Sambad which is published from Dhaka, was beaten up by Muslim fundamentalists. Because he was accused of publishing several news, reporting the poor conditions of the Hindu minority of Bangladesh. He filed a case at the near by Police Station but the police did not show the any interest in arresting the miscreants

India is the only country in world where people of so many religious beliefs stay together in harmony...India is such a country where a non Hindu is given the highest authoritative positions ( Abdul Kalam Sir , Manmohan Singh Sir)...do any non muslim in middle east or Pakistan or Bangladesh expect these kind of honour...never , rather they are intentionally kept out of these...again and again we are telling you to be quiet...otherwise more and more number of rediff readers will start spitting at you...plzz calm down and keep quiet...:))

MY dear brOthers
I will like to clear some misconception, for me remove to misception in non muslim is a jehad .
Jihad means to fight against evil,to do good things.In quran there is not a single statement which states the holy war against any particular religion.
rights of women:
I believe that Islam is the very modern religion, 1)Women have the share in the property from their parents 2)widow remarriage is allowed as well as women remarriage 3)just like men women can divorce their husband if the husband's behaviour is not good towards her wife 4)polygamy(purdah) is introduced to protect women from some evil eyes of men, there are also some rules for men as well. these are just some of the basic principal of Islam which tried to explain in short as possible.
I also knew very well after this reply some of the narrow minded , sick people will try to pinch my emotion but it does'nt matter to me because such kinds of culprit or fundamentalist exist in every society.
Islam is a religion of peace the word Is_(saalam) means peace i am just concentrating on that. quran states that it is important to understand quran then just reading and i under stand it to some extend It does;nt matter what any Taslima or XYZ says and I can bet on that she had hardly ever read quran.

Read Lajja, It has true addresses of the people who died. Take it as proof. What more proof do you want? Truth cannot be hidden and Taslima is a strong lady. So, she could speak the truth.
