Mr. White Scott: I have heard some people here repeat this little factoid again and again. However, even if it is true, it doesn't mean anything. Women in the west are in A MUCH MORE privileged positions than a majority of women in the Arab world in particular. Western women already have rights and equality and even if a few thousand women convert to Islam each year they will likely stay in western countries and enjoy the good living, personal freedom and equal rights.

MY dear brOthers
I will like to clear some misconception, for me remove to misception in non muslim is a jehad .
Jihad means to fight against evil,to do good things.In quran there is not a single statement which states the holy war against any particular religion.
rights of women:
I believe that Islam is the very modern religion, 1)Women have the share in the property from their parents 2)widow remarriage is allowed as well as women remarriage 3)just like men women can divorce their husband if the husband's behaviour is not good towards her wife 4)polygamy(purdah) is introduced to protect women from some evil eyes of men, there are also some rules for men as well. these are just some of the basic principal of Islam which tried to explain in short as possible.
I also knew very well after this reply some of the narrow minded , sick people will try to pinch my emotion but it does'nt matter to me because such kinds of culprit or fundamentalist exist in every society.
Islam is a religion of peace the word Is_(saalam) means peace i am just concentrating on that. quran states that it is important to understand quran then just reading and i under stand it to some extend It does;nt matter what any Taslima or XYZ says and I can bet on that she had hardly ever read quran.

WHITE SCOTT: Are you not able to ready and comprehend my writing!?? I was talking about good living, freedom and liberty OF WESTERN COUNTRIES that these white female converts enjoy. You claim that just because some white women convert to Islam, all Muslim women are doing good. That is UNTRUE. Women in Arab countries are a different story altogether. They ARE GENERALLY HIGHLY DEPENDENT and NOT EVEN ABLE TO GET A DECENT SECULAR EDUCATION IN MANY CASES. They can't apply for US visa on their own. Besides, these days there are a lot of restrictions on Arab immigrants for obvious reasons. Migration from India occurs for a better standard of living and better opportunities, and no one is denying that.
