Looks like only congress can provide stable govt in Karnataka. I am sick of coalitions where partners will pull each other's leg when there is some good initiative is taken.
JDS is doomed because of "love day" devegowda tactics and cannot even dream of getting majority. BJP, with all its sympathy votes etc, will fall short of majority because of its weakness in rural karnataka. So, congress is the only practical solution. Centre has congress too and if we get a good leader like Krishna, then it will be fantastic

What we need is not political stability but Good Governance. Unfortunately, neither a Coalition Govt nor a Stable single party Govt has the will do give us this now.

dont forget congress was once in power with the alliance of JDS, before JDS-BJP alliance.I think your memory is short. This same congress at Centre brought down the government headed by back entry devegowda as PM by an old man Kesari.

Even Congress cannot give stable govt., there are too many aspirants for the post of CM and ministers... there are many factions in Congress now - Kharge, Siddaramiah, SM Krishna, RL Jalappa, Moily, Poojari, KHPatil.....
After winning the elections, Congress may head for a split!
