Stop harping on 2002 riot. That was simply a cause and effect reality. Judge Modi on the basis of his performance and governance. While state like Karnataka and AP marvel the IT growth, Maharashtra boasts of Industrial growth, Punjab is proud of Agricultural growth, Gujarat is the only state that is seeing progress in all sectors.
Further, Modi government laid infrastructure with a vision of 20 years growth so that the growth shouldn't affect quality of life of the people. It is not just Ahmedabad but all most all small towns of Gujarat today have developed on the lines of developed countries with water, electricity, drainage system and good roads. Myopic media dont want to talk about it, but people there know it and have experienced it. They know, come what may they will vote Modi.

right. gujarat is about the only state where its cities are not terribly overcrowded because it has balanced growth and the villages are doing great too. many east europeans have visited gujarat to learn the right lesssons on development.
