Ur statement clearly states that islam is intolerant towards non-muslims. Islam is peaceful only when there is islam allover.

It is not Taslima who is creating the problems. It is your stupid CPIM party and its other communal minority pandering parties that are creating the problems. India would be so much better a place to live if the CPIM party could just packed in ships and sunk in the Bay of Bengal right after independence.

all parties appease minorities, should we turn toward missionary activities next?
what the mullah fools did by force earlier, these are doing by sweetness now. anyway, what happened in goa by protuegese was bad enough. there is no point in dragging all this.
stay cool, guys.

Y'r right, CPM was taken by surprise, thats why they threw Taslima out of Bengal in the middle of the night.

But then what else is new about CPM - the foremost hindu hating anti national party? They supported Pakistan formation, supported China during Indo-China war, converted Bengal into CPM fiefdom.

she need not be kicked out but let her go into hiding or something for sometime.
tobe fair, if she wrote something inflammatory(or is perceived thus) against the religion, there will be protests. guess it should be channelised correctly, but these are emotional issues.

Taslima has done a great service by pointing the injustice done to the minorities (Hindus) in Bangladesh. She deserves a safe environment in India.

There should be no place in India for fundamentalist Muslims and the politicians (and their supporters) who lick those fundamentalist Muslims' boots.

You idiot, it is clear from your post that you have not read anything about Lazza a book she wrote which has become the bone of controversy. It was nothing blasphemous againg Prophet Mohammed or slamic religion, but on the ills of the islamic society wherein a woman is raped and the government does do anything about it. Also it exposes the Bnagla Govt which initially born as a secular country and how over a period of time got denegrated into a intolerant nation, intolerant towards other religions. First read the book and then comment.
The issue is not about only what Taslima said and whether she is becoming a liability but whether we should forget about our fundamental right to speech and life. If this is allowed to continue, these mullahs and the politicians will drive this country into being a banana republic.

actually i am surprised. taslima was in india was quite a long time. why this issue is flaring up suddenly? granted that some parties were making noise right from the beginning but this never happened before. i am not sure what is going on because the protests in calcutta were against nandigram, suddenly it turned against taslime. if anyone can sopt the link please post here.
