do we need prime ministers and chief ministers can't we also have social security numbers like us citizens have cant we live day to day life without politics and instead try our best in academics.

Why not give her citizenship?She is an internationally acclaimed author and womens rights activist.She is the best thing to come out of Bangladesh -much better than the millions that enter India illegally every year and have colonized Assam.Would you be as interested in deporting them from Assam as well or is your problem only with those that speak out against human rights abuses in Islamic states?

this things have been going on for years which is what we call as politics for example the nandigram issue started because of the sez and then it became killing fields and now suddenly taslima is brough it and dont know tomorrow what happens who else might be targeted it is just making us indian's the tax payers a fool and there are others who might be earning in dollars for all this that has happened what do u say?

If they took her to Modi state it is a different story. Only for blame game they sent from WB to Rajasthan. So much secular communist party can not shelter a migrant .They welcome them for votes but not for sharing the truth and facts

Mr. Ahamed: Modi and Togadia aside why aren't you able to digest any criticism from a Muslim woman? Do not use Modi and Togadia as an excuse to torture a woman who wants to speak her mind in a civilized and peaceful way. You can disagree with her but it is SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE to issue death threats against her.

it would have been better if we still had the britishers in india i think we would have had an even better standard of living. like the afro asians in the US
