Whether a foreigner person be given extended visa or citizenship is generally considered administrative purview. This time it has been direly politicized. Any violent protest against somebody staying in India, demanding expulsion etc, what Minority Forum did in WB, is totally unacceptable. By the same reason, if tomorrow some people can organize violent protest demanding expulsion of X, Y, or Z from India, should the Govt follow suit only because the protesters expressed them forcefully and destructively? BJP demanding Taslima's citizenship is alo not based on solid reason. It does not fall under any political party's concern who be given visa or citizenship and who not. BJP only sees this move as a tactics against Muslim agression.

India is not Afghanistan, so the terrorists should not be tolerated and they should be brought to justice. The minority forum is just a garb of fundamentalists who want to impose Taleban type restrictions on all.
