I had called his office once to inquire about the beach umbrellas at Girgaum Chowpatty and surprisingly he came on the phone.

He chatted with me and was very pleased to know that I was also a Maharashtrian.

He also invited me to meet with him.

I was really floored, as I always thought that these politicians never have time to speak or listen to a comman man.

I feel he was a great guy and did a lot for Mumbai.
