Man for the street
by Nandakumar Konkar on Nov 20, 2007 09:25 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Pramod Navalkar - Bhatkya ['Nomad' in Marathi] enjoys a special place in the hearts of Marathi manoos of Mumbai.

Relatively unknown outside Mumbai, he was a activist every political party would love to have with it - passionate & street smart - ever ready to expose dubious activities.

I doubt if SS has any more people like him left in it's fold.

One may disagree with him on various things but his passion was never in doubt.

I would not always agree with his moral policing, at times it was way too much. He was a simple man, you could meet him buying vegetables in the market, he was easily reachable. He was one of the few "honest" SS politician. His coloumns would be missed.
