I wrote a similar article in Bengali in Vinnomot [google it please] where we are inviting others to write on this issue. Actually, idealism, be it Hinduvta, Islam or communism is anti-thesis to scientific truth because absolute truth does not exist according to philosophy of science. Thus all kinds of idealism are unscientific. But that will be imposed on the people-that's the danger. However WB needs industry desperately-neither this reality can be ignored.

idealism or craving for absolute truth kills - but in 100s and 1000s. Science when kills they are in millions - N Bomb. Fighter Jets in WTC. Train blasts with bombs. btw bombs are made scientifically... find the truth which philosophy has killed more in last 100 years - as long as you remove islam out of the picture.

Hindutva is not idealism..Islam is, because its political system from no other but God..since God cant fail and is Perfect, it follows Islam is Perfect...indeed God wrote many many books prior to Quran, but got it 'perfected' only in Quran..so even God took so long..so how can Quran be imperfect or anything based on it Imperfect...see what drives people to run planes into buildings????

the fundamental flaw in your prejudiced reading of everything Islam will not make you say anything different. Your stereotyped vision of Islam, as you so conveniently choose to overplay, is only representative of the larger Hindu radical viewpoint. I only have sympathies for your brains that appears to be incapable of informed thinking. But if you do want to debate it, you need to first get off your moral pedestal and speaking down.
