A request to The Editor, Rediff News

Sorry for writing on this discussion board which is not at all related to the topic. But this a request to Rediff News Editor. Dear Readers please forgive with me for this kind of act. Rediff News should make a study on a serious issue between Kerala and Tamil Nadu and give a report on their news. There is a Dam named Mullapperiyar Dam in Kerala which is constructed for supply of water for irrigation and drinking for the people of Tamil Nadu. It has constructed long back. The experts have found that for the last few years the condition of this dam is very dangerous as water leakage has developed on many parts of the dam. The current monsoon rain has made the thing worse. The leackage and cracks on the dam has become more big and if the dam breaks, at least 5 districts of Kerala will be fully destroyed and no body may survive. In spite of the many efforts of Kerala Government, TN Government is ignoring the situation and they are pressuring the Central Govt to increase the height of this dam by few metres!!! They are not concerned about the lives of people of Kerala. Kerala is ready to construct a new dam but TN is opposing this. It is a matter of lives of at least 10 Lakh people. If something worst happened....... So before something happening, Rediff News as an independent agency should make a detailed study of this issue and give a fair report so that the eyes of everybody will open on this serious issue.
