Relief figures look funny
by mailme alladin on Nov 14, 2007 08:16 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The figures quoted look really funny.
Rs. 1000 for house construction and Rs. 1000 for utensils as well.
Who screwed up the figures? Is it Budda or Rediff?

Earlier I read on one site (CNN IBN)
CMP cadres fired 5000 bullets and 30000 people died in Nandigram. That means 6 persons died per bullet of CPM cadre.

Dear Mr Ghosh,
Who cares to whom you people vote. Keep rotting in Bengal for whole life without food & job. But don't dare to go to other states for jobs. Keep voting to whomsoever you like. Nobody really cares.

The same channel has shown a photographer who has been shooting in Nandigram for last one year. Now only his photos are being shown. Though the photographer says - he was quite away from the site - he was not sure which party shoot (the gun), the newsreader was jumping - can it be said - it was a CPM cadres who were shooting the guns?
