An apt lesson!
by VASUDEVAN V on Nov 13, 2007 01:59 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The CPI(M)cadres have given an apt lesson in Nandigram that shows how the party has been winning elections in West Bengal for the last 30 years. The world is now left in no doubt as to how the communists have controlled everything in the State to suit their needs. Any opposition is suppressed ruthlessly by their cadres. Either you fall in line or there willbe no trace left of your very existence. This is how CPI(M) has been winning the elections in West Bengal and they call themselves a democratically elected Government! As CPI(M)was never a part of our freedom struggle, all the party leaders and the cadres must be feeling elated that at last they had an opportunity to participate in a liberation movement - the liberation of Nandigram. One can understand the euphoria among the party leaders and the cadres. What next? Chalo Delhi! Perhaps they can take their cadres with them to Delhi for achieving similar results. In the meanwhile, where are the Teesta Setelvads, Tarun Tejpals, Anirudh Bahals and like-minded seculars? Probably they have joined hands with the CPI(M) cadres in Nandigram to further the secular cause. Any news of these seculars will be most welcome!

I totally agree. CPM's rule in West Bengal is a study on how a party can subvert the spirit of a democracy while apparently obeying by the letters..

As a Bengali, I hope the rest of India will not give this chance to CPM

Lenin & Stalin did the same with Russians/Polish/Yugoslavs & Now CPM as usual doing the same thing Occupy the Agri. Land for Industries & can go to any extent go achieve what they want....
Stalin killed 100000 (Atleast) people during land acquisitions & Ind. developement....
I'm not surprised by seeing what CPM is doing in Nandigram.....

Sing a Comrade song/Chant the slogans & kill the farmers....
History repeats.....

Salil.
