There was an article in TOI some days ago. Basically, it was about a survey carried out in various countries to estimate the extent of religious devotion amongst the people in various countries. The survey found that people in US, India and a few other countries were highly religious. Most people in Europe were not religious. The article sought to portray that with the exception of USA, all developed countries aren't religious. What the article missed (or rather omitted conveniently) was the aggressions by Muslims and Britishers on India, which has impoverished India.

Even APJ Abdul Kalam quotes from the Gita regularly! He is even participating in a conference on science & spirituality in Tirupati in Dec. He has never quoted anything from Quran!!! Like a wise Muslim!

deep dar, dr.abdul kalam knows even tamil verses of nalayathu divyaprabandam of ahzwars song in glory of lord narayana and knows bagawath geetha and other slogas and lover of carnatic music ect and he was called as kalam iyer and takes only vegitarian food. that is why even VHP is ready to agree for dr.kalam to head for the panel of committee on ram sethu samudram project as they know dr.kalam being the native of rameswarm town of sethu,is the honest judge to decide about this issue. hence goons karunanidhi and vatigan lady sonia did not agree to the nomination of dr.kalam for second time.dr.kalam gets respect by love from all walks of people and thanks to bjp/vajpayee,we got dr.kalam as president of best choice after dr.rajendra prasath.
