It is a shame that I have to explain this to a person who belongs to a democratic country, well, anyway...

Major difference...Lalu is - whether u like him or not - a democratically elected person.

Hello Anir, don't be misguided. Lalu's sense of democracy is no better than Musharraf's. Both beleives in high handness. Both beleives that they have borned to rule and spoil other's dresses.

You are being ridiculous. It is not what they believe it is what they do. Lalu imposed martial law, closed down media and jailed the Supreme Court judges? I'm not at all a fan of Lalu but you couldn't be farther from truth if you compare him to the military dictator.

Ridiculousness is the only scale for judging great people like Lalu and Musharraf. When they want to rule, they should be given freedom to rule. Why should Supreme Court or Media, or for that matter any force, disturb an innocent desire. Because of your strong opposition Musharraf may make his wife sit in the 'gaddi', just like Lalu did. Do you want to spoil Mrs. Bhutto's golden chance, Mr. Mahesh ??
