Mr.Peri,
I really applaud your article. I completely agree with your views. Nowdays, riots have are seen within the prism of religion, caste, creed, regioin, etc. I feel sick when people defend Modi even after seeing this sting operation.

so, according to the 'unbiased' views of the author, narendra modi should be hanged since his guilt has been exposed conclusively by the sting operation and there is no need even for a fair trial.

Unfortunately, in a democracy and free society, things are not conducted in that way. There is something known as the law of the land and a judiciary. You should allow that to take its own course.

what ppl said in the operation are just allegations on modi. they may be wrong. but it has to be evaluated by the investigation going on. nothing more can be done with the so called 'evidence'.

if somebody says that he killed on the behest of sonia gandhi and describes how he committed the crime (like ripping off the foetus etc) what r we supposed to do? get emotional by the description and hang 'madam' immediately?

Those who think Mahesh Peri is unbiased, need to get their head examined. Mahesh himself says that he considers himself sort of a mentor of Tehelka folk. Grow up, guys. Mahesh knows perfectly what he is writing, he does not need your sympathies.

what about the Godhra, Kashmir and other riots like 1984, Bhagalpur ones? Does all were fine? Only the Gujrat is bad?

100s of farmer committing suicide in Maharastra, why My Peri is not writing anything on that? People like Mr. Peri work on on line, Anti-Hindu.

So, Rajeev you want Mr. Peri to handle all the issues of India, is it possible? No.

If you or whoever has concerned about other issues you have mentioned, let them handle it.

If anybody favors Tehelka, you call them jehadis, anti-hindu bla bla ...it has become a fashion.

If Tehalka says only one thing and forget other thing then it is like he is working on his personal interest. Journalism can't be personalized.

He is talking about the Gujrat riot and blame Modi, he must mention the other riots like 1984, Bhagalpur & others. If he do not do that then it means that he is one sided. Again, the Gujrat riot was the reactive action, it was the reaction of Godhra. Why do not condemn Godhra 1st. If the Godhra incident would not have happed, the gujrat riot would never had happened.

Action/Reaction does not work this way.

If you believe in Action/Reaction, I would say "Godhra Train" was reaction to 1992 Babri Demolishion. Do you accept it?

I strongly condemn Godhra Train incident as well.

If you still believe in Action/Reaction...then you may be expecting "Reaction" from Muslims against Post-Godhra....

Then again a "Reaction" to this...should this continue????? absolutely NOT.

Since you approve the "reaction" I don't have anything to discuss with you. Sorry, and don't expect Tehelka to take the contract of all the issues of the country.

If you/BJP or RSS has guts why not make a sting operation on godhra and bhagalpur?

So you think even if muslims kill Hindus, hindus should keep quite? Even if muslims rape Hindus (in Kashmir), Hindus should not do anything? And if hindus react it is wrong? What will you understand the pain of the Hindus in J&K, North east and other muslim countries.
Subarna can you answer me some questions as
(by sridhar)
below:

1.It is some islamic followers who had used force to convert 40 percent of Hindus towards to Islam.
2.It is islamic followers who had caused the split of vast India to be divided in to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh purely based on religion.
3.It is some islamic fanatic rulers who had destroyed many temples and also put up mosques there not out of anything, but to satisfy their ego and has nothing todo with Holy Quran or Islam.
4.Creating social unrest by way of conversions and looting and raping

So, when most islamic followers had grossly misused their religion to incur so much suffering in the hindus, then dont you think, there will be a reactive action from some Hindus?

WHY DO YOU TAKE ISOLATED INCIDENTS OF HINDUS AND GENERALIZE THAT ALL BJP IS LIKE MODI etc? I am not justifying what Modi did(if he had done any mass murder), but trying to make you understand the causes behind such reactive violent actions by some Hindus.

BUT AT THE SAME TIME, MUSLIMS ALSO SHOULD UNDERSTAND THE HARDSHIP DONE IN THE PAST TO HINDUS BY THEIR PREDECESSORS BEHAVIOR AND BE PATIENT AND THEN WORK FOR BETTER INDIA.

Compared to WHAT Islamic world is
