by abbas ali on Nov 06, 2007 03:26 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I am a indian muslim and have nothing in similarity to pakistan or any arab country. The differences are very obvious.People who wanted to leave have left and indian muslims have fought to establish their place.Ultimately that will remain is INDIANISM which to me is stronger than islam or any religion.

I am really proud of you, if you are true to your heart for the post.

It is true that many Indians (Non muslims) see every muslim as a terrorist. A muslim blames the non-muslim for this act and vice versa.
The coin has two sides.
First of all, all the NOn-Muslims should not be blamed. Whenever a terror strikes India, no muslims or muslim organization condemns the act. Instead, they keep silence which makes the others feel that you are getting alienated by yourself. Moreover, the AIMPLB (All India Muslim Personal Law board) - I dont know what the Fuc-k they are doing in India. They are misleading the muslims by declaring "Vande mataram" is against Islam. This too is getting a warm welcome from majority of muslim community.
First of all, the entire muslims community should change their attitude. Else, the difference between the two communities will never cease.

Abbas Ali, Ive had a few muslim friends in india who are very indian and that is all great. However sometimes I sense that even they, although pro india, sympathize with pakistan and when a muslim blows up something in india it does not evoke the same anger in them as it does in me, a hindu. Obviously their indian identity is not fully formed. They seem to think pakistanis are their brothers just because they are all muslims. They do not realize that those same pakistanis would kill them without thinking twice just for fraternizing with us hindus.

I believe it is necessary for muslims in india to reach a decision of which side they are on. If they want to consider themselves indian, and i hope they do, they should not owe any sort of allegience to pakistan. Unfortunately I cannot in person usually outright ask muslims if they will put india above pakistan, but this being the internet I was wondering if you can tell me how many muslims consider india their home and do not want to be associated with pakistan in any way. Basically I wish to know if you are representative of many indian muslims or if you are an exception.

Well said. I hope every Indian thinks this way. The very concept of Indian "Muslim" should go away. But for now, Muslims in India should take care to not support terror in any form and stamp out such evil destruction.

INDIAN MUSLIM is the only term that gives some sanity to the people who believe in the Muslim faith. THats what sets them apart from the other world wide fanatic islamists.
They should be happy that they can use term Indian Muslim to separate themselves from the other so called Muslims
