While you have to agree with the author it is not Pak's Islamic dream that has gone sour. Pakistan is on the verge of becoming the citadel or launching pad for Islamic expansion and terror and further mess up the neighborhood if not the world. To be fair if anything Jinnahs's dream of a Secular homeland for Muslims has gone sour. Compare Pakistan with another state founded on religion Israel - a flourishing nation amid a jungle of chaos, beheadings and suicide bombers. The civilized Jewish island makes great breakthroughs in science & technology amid terror. The trouble lies not with the people but what they believe in. Thats too evident.
