"India and Pakistan as friends can make progress together and leave the Europeans far behind. We have everything -- brilliance, youth, strength of a hardworking attitude, a land rich in resources and strategic location." ........
Wow I am really surprised you said this, given the curren geo-political situation, terrorism in Kashmir, the Siachin problem, the very though of something like this makes me laugh. Btw, given the hypothetical situation of a merger, the aggregation of resources would prove to be a great asset, but the liability in terms of the Pakistani people and the various extremist Islamic groups in Pak would negate this drastically. I am really surprised at the writer's thinking. School boy thinking.

Even i agree with u. I wud never call the pakistani counterpart my brother. It was their decision to part and now its our decision tht we shud accept them or not. How can one forget the pain and sufferings of the lakhs of people who lost their loved ones to the unstopping terrorism sponsored by our cruel neighbour. If Pakistanis dnt have sense of what their govt is leading them into and do not oppose sponsored terrorism than why shud we forgive them. I m sure their very own Allah will teach them a hard lesson for bringing violence to innumerable innocent lives. Ameen.
