The answer is an emphatic No.

In fact in Karachi, when a muhajir (Indian muslim) youth eloped with a Pathan girl (Afghan), there were riots in the city and curfew was imposed.

Rizwanur would have been better off controlling his instincts and marrrying a bengali muslim girl.
