I feel that the money paid is too less to the women involved. $15000 per couple is 6,00,000. If 2,50,000 goes to the poor woman, assume 1,00,000 for expenses then 2,50,000 is in the doctor's kitty. Seems like a case of outsourcing, exploiting poor Indian people.

All the above are talking bullshit. I only agree 1.To one thingh surrogate mother is boon to couple who dont have a child. 2. Price for this job should be more at atleast Rs 5,00,000 or whatever surrogate mother defines 3. This money should be paid in advance and should not have bearing after the delivery i.e still baby of mid term abortion. 4. Doctor is only playing role to achieve satisfaction to parents and is not blameworthy and she is only charging her fees. 5. Friends it is good gesture on part of surrogate mother we should not blame/ criticise anyone and specially if we dont know the job.
