Indo-US strategic alliance
by Ramgopal Krishna on Nov 01, 2007 11:52 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The US has never been an imperialist country with any imperialist designs. After winning the first Iraq war and the second Iraq war,the US has been doing its best to bring democracy there at the cost of shedding blood of its marines. It has not made Iraq a part of any US empire ! At least during the past 70-odd years, I have always found the US as a country who helped my country during famines, during the 1962 China war, during other calamities, and the US is also seen constantly helping many other countries of the world, always giving solid support to the suffering countries. The vociferous communists including Karat, Bardhan etc. will only go to the US for getting the best medical treatment, not to China or Russian. Yes, India should have oldly become a full-fledged ally of the US and the Western block enabling the alliance to utterly annihilate the cruel, inhuman nations. Today, despite all the false talk of `India - a super power` etc.,we need US more than the US needs us.Karat, Bardhan and Co.cannot deny that the moment China and other Communist countries and Iran, Pakistan, Libya North Korea, Cuba etc. together muster enough destructive weapons, they will go ahead and realize their dream and philosophy of world-dominion. Karat and Bardhan will by then be totally impotent to stop them. Let us arise and isolate these dangerous comrades who have sold themselves to China. Also, let us save Arunachal Pradesh from China through a quick strategic alliance with the US.

you are sounding as stupid as Karat. Why are you bracketing China with Iran,Pakistan etc. China is a military power already superior to us, they have a far bigger army than India with more nuclear warheads etc. Even now it is only Chinese pressure on US that is preventing recognition of Taiwan and preventing freedom to TIBET. Give credit to China where progress has been much faster than in India.

is it essential to use abusive language to make your point . china is progressing not in vaccum , but by exporting to usa and now india . you go to any mall in usa you see 80% of the stuff is made in china . even india has usa as its market for its it industry . no country in the world can make money without trading with usa why usa has over 60,ooo indian students from india studying for higher education in overtaking chinese in last 2 years. simple answer is QUALITY and opportunity of employment afterwards do not be fooled propoganda of these agents of china agents.

WHY AMERICA put sanction against INDIA on nuclear test when whole world is covinced that india never use it first against any country ,enven america also knows it. But during that period pakistan''s nuclear black market was on sell with full knowledge of CIA. Even with the sanction ,india is growing stronger.Us assistant secretary mr Clad has admitted india is a influencial power with global reach . At this juncture UPA govt. is going to surrender our independent foreign policy for which india is a most favoured nation of world. It is very disheartenig to see that UPA GOVT. is behaving like a subordinate country to USA before the n deal is through just for extra 6000MWof electricity .Example india is silent on America'S hopeless sanction against Iran , no voice from PMO office so far against US dictation not to go ahead with Iran gas pipe line deal where as Presedent Musaharaf has strongly opposed to it and determined to go ahead with iran gaspipeline deal.It is defenitely a smart stand. I want to ask" Is India a subordinate nation by now on wards? "

mr anil,
refresh your memory when china invaded present arunchal in 1962 pt nehru had to call president kennedy for help and it came with out any conditions . when india faced famine like conditions in 1972 ---73 it was wheat under pl 480 saved people from hunger. usa waved that loan and gave it to india in rupees for community development project .even when the nuclear deal ever goes through ? it is france japan and russia who will gain most china is still occupying indian territory and supplied pakistan with atom bomb technology and blue print , usa applied sanctions under pressler rules
