No need to abuse Bihar
by Kumar on Nov 01, 2007 09:52 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Guys, there is no need to abuse Bihar. Our state is completely ruled by the upper caste people who unlike the other states have a criminal bend of mind. With education, when the lower caste people get more power, Bihar will improve. This is how most of the states in India progressed. After the lower caste majority have education and feel enpowered, you will find a new Bihar that will be a decent place to live. Please give us a chance to free ourselves from the shackles of castiesm and if you could please help us fight castiesm.

Hello, I do not know at which stretch of mind you are suggesting that Bihar is being ruled by upper cast people. I believe that Nitish Kumar is a kurmi...a backward cast. It was ruled for last 15 years by joker couple (lallu and rabari) who is also backward....yadavs are backward..if I am not wrong. So please..stop getting histerical and get a life.

Criminal politicians like Lalu are not the only 'rulers' of India. There are the IAS rulers, the police rulers, the government machinary rulers, the feudal elite rulers, the have-great-caste-contacts-hence-will-promote-only-my-own-castemen rulers. This system works to humilite, destroy and murder the aspiritions of common people. Then there are rulers like Nithish Kumar, Lalu, Paswan and Mayawati who might try to label themselves as backwards but their behavior is either feudal or one of helplessness. That's why I said only mass education of the lower caste masses and the building of self-confidance and giving them opportunities by not discriminating against them can save Bihar.

15 years of criminal Lalu rule and a 2 years of helpless Nithish Kumar's rule doesn't make the poor lower caste people enpowered. Do you think these guys really care about the meek and the weak? The first steps are education and giving people oppurtunities. You cannot undo 5000 years of castiesm rot by 1.7 decade of criminal/helpless 'lower caste LEADERS' and mind you NOT 'lower caste PEOPLE' rule. 1.7 decade of bold, compassionate, justice-driven, action-oriented, principled, ethical leaders' rule would have certainly helped more. And 'rule' not just from politicans side but also from the police, IAS, government machinery, license inspectors, utility providers and educators.

tell me dear friend ....is Nitish Kumar a upper caste? I never knew that kurmis are upper caste in Bihar or was Lalu an upper caste person...so in short in last 17-18 years Bihar was ruled by non-upper caste people.

The problem with people like you from bihar is that you guys can never rise above caste politics and that is the real problem. B'cse of people liek you good Bihari's move out of Bihar

How come you are suddenly jumped from rulers of Bihar to rulers of India? Bihari rulers like Lalu and Nitish are from so called backward classes. As far Rulers of India and other states are concerned, regarless of their castes, their states are doing fine and situation in their state is not as grim as Bihar.

The other states are doing fine because they gave power to the lower caste. As per UN report on human index the best state in India is Tamil Nadu which gave most power to the lower caste and Bihar is at the bottom which gave least power to the lower caste. Do you know the land reform process is a complete failure in Bihar, do you know where else it's a failure, it's a failure in Pakistan. The feudal lords don't want to surrender even a tiny amount of power to the common masses and will murder to save their ill-gained powers. The rulers of Bihar are of the same CATEGORY as the rulers of India, the IAS, the collector, the judiciary, the police, the government departments, the public sector, the license inspectors, the BDO officer, the feudal lords, the local goondas AND the politicians. I want to remove the misconception that only the politicans are the rulers. I have mentioned the names of various other pillars that rule India.
