now that ravishankar has come let us see if the suicide rate declines. otherwise there are many babas who can come and teach. but the question is whether it will help or not?

Dude if you dont know about the person dont comment. Sri Sri RaviShankar does not claim to be a baba nor does he preach religion. He encourages positive attitude for life and preaches a lifestyle. Even if he charges money, you can see that with all the good the NGO is doing your money is not wasted. Its way better than paying income tax.

firstly he has not voluntarily organised the function, it is done by some NGO & for doing this i don't think ravishankar has taken initiative. he has to deliver the lecture it can be in bangalore, NY or Yavatmal, no pain.

how positive attitude for life will help if there is no rain for years. if farmers r taking loan from rich people or banks for years how they will service. basically instead of AOL they need timely help, scientific way of doing farming, monetary help and support of government. i am from vidarbha rigion so i can say that. no need of AOL, it is for the one who is having sufficient money for his bread and butter. if it is so useful then it is mostly required for 'beggers' becoz they need positive attitude towards life for motivation to work. for farmers the solution is something different. i don't think ravishankar has arranged any AOL camp for 'Beggers', may be due to no media attention or the issue is not in limelight.

I think Ravishankar should be praised for his effort. of all the 'babas' and 'maulvis' and 'fathers', he is the first one to take such an initiative. Whether or not he's able to stop suicides is a different thing, but his effort is worth praising.
