UP and Bihar are the cradle of Ancient civilization. Biased statements without knowledge of history will further divide the country. I request Sri Bhupender singh to desist from entertaining such ideas because that will only make him that much more ignorant of our civilization.

yes well said. For a state that gave a peaceful religion(Buddhism) that has affected religious thoughts over half the world I am sure Bihar deserves a better word. Not long ago (pre Jagannath Mishra days), it was still a state that produced some fine men of our country before the current state of matters took over.

Dont forget TN, their leaders are film stars who lead country more by film script and xenophobia rather than the constitution. UP is not that hopeless as proved by these elections. Maybe you are not aware but in UP today nobody without power could even visit a police station to lodge any case, but in Mayawati's brief regime, the police officers were taking FIRs from ordinary people. In a state where Law and Order is a concern, the outcome of voters to come out and vote for Mayawati speaks for itself. Note--> I am not from UP and I am not Mayawati supporter but I do give credit where it is due.
